Why Dietary Fibre is Imperative to a Healthy Body

Most people are aware of dietary fibre’s role in preventing constipation, but fibre has many other benefits as well such as lowering the risk of certain diseases and, contrary to popular belief, fibre actually regulates the digestive system, preventing both constipation and diarrhea.

Fibre keeps the digestive system working properly, by speeding up the elimination of waste and toxins  from the body, thereby preventing them from remaining in the intestine too long which could cause a build up, leading to a number of diseases.

There are two types of fibre namely soluble and insoluble fibre. Insoluble fibre passes through the body unchanged and promotes the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine, softening and bulking up waste material and increasing the rate of elimination.

Boost Weight Loss with Hidden Veggies!
